Has it been done? I was reading and looking at other 5sge with the 3sge heads. I know that's been done several times. It got me thinking even more if anyone has done a head swap with the 20v 4age head? Sounds like it'll be able to put out really good power if done right.

this topic has been kinda covered. the 5s (2.2L) block has been paired with the gte head (from the 3sgte) before. the 2.2L block gives the setup more torque with the larger displacement. "ge" heads are toyotas answer to performance ie- 2jz-gte, 1jzgte, 7mgte, 3sgte. the "fe" heads such as 5sfe, 7afe, 2gr-fe are more plain jane setups. do some reseach in the sticky sections of each of the forums. its good info!
