 disc brake conversion, gathering parts for conversion |

are there any substitutes for the gt brakes that will bolt up as a disc conversion im having a hard time finding 6gc's at the scrap yard

The parking brake cables are the same except for the cast ends which attach to the e-brake assembly. You can modify the drum brake cables to fit the disc brake backing plate, with some difficulty, or so I'm told by someone who went that route. I replaced the cables.
The brake lines on the body of the car are the same. The brake lines between the body and the wheel cylinder (drum) or caliper (disc) are different. You'll need the soft lines for the calipers. |
