So I have a 1996 celica and can't seam to find a afm. But my mates say all 3sges are afm... after looking on google image I saw and matched up what looks to be a map sensor.
reason is my car appears to red line at around 5,000 rpm. I get 90km out of 3rd gear. No one seams to know why. Im thinking along the lines of air/fuel mix. This post has been edited by MupeT: Aug 22, 2013 - 12:55 AM |

I believe its the 3sge. That's what my tag says. 2L 5 speed. Yeah I have found out its mapped. So what's happening is on acceleration im climbing up the revs then at 5k its like its hit red line. Just bogs down and has nothing left. I don't believe its spark as its not all the time.
My mate has one of those snap on computer reading things no fault codes have been logged. We forced a code so we know all is working. My battery died but I cant remember if the problem started then. Im lost and so are the people I have told. Any one have any ideas ... or what I should be checking |
