So I'm looking into getting new suspension and just wondering if these kyb struts from ebay would be any good? Are they legit kyb? And would I need anything else if I got these or is this everything I need?
Edit: I'm an idiot and didn't post the link, http://www.ebay.com/itm/KYB-GR-2-SHOCKS-SP...9-/120653716592 This post has been edited by PegGTS: Aug 26, 2013 - 3:59 PM -------------------- 2007 Impreza 2.5i - Daily

I think my struts are blown, I can feel every single bump in the road lol. They've been like that since I've had the car. So Monroe struts offer a softer ride? I don't have plans to lower the car because ****ty roads haha so I'm just looking for a comfy ride

If you have lowering springs at all, then that is your issue, if you still have stock springs then as someone mentioned check your tire pressure. Monroe struts are OE replacements, kyb GR2/Excel-G (same strut, they just changed the name) are supposedly ~10% stiffer than stock. Based on what I've seen though, monroe struts never seem to last more than about 50k miles, the kyb are much higher quality IMO. -------------------- ![]() 94 GT - Sold -------- 69 Pontiac Lemans - Sold 88 Alltrac - Sold ---- 04 WRX - Sold 00 GT-S - Sold ------ 91 Miata - project/drift car 95 GT - Sold -------- 96 GT - New Daily Drive |

I don't have lowering springs, and as far as I know the springs are stock. Is there perhaps something wrong with the springs? And if so what would be good replacement springs without lowering it? -------------------- 2007 Impreza 2.5i - Daily
