Map Light Replacement Question Options

The map lights on the 99 GT Conv are really dim....I was wondering if anyone could tell me if these would work as brighter replacements?

What was involved in installing it? Did they fit as is or did you have to mod them in any way?

i have the same 12smd board as azn87 works pretty well. it should come with adapters if you purchase from ebay. it lights up the interior pretty well. i also have it in the back for my trunk light light with the festoon adapter. i could add some pictures later tonight if you like.
