 Map Light Replacement Question |

The map lights on the 99 GT Conv are really dim....I was wondering if anyone could tell me if these would work as brighter replacements?

The only double ended light bulb in our car is the trunk light. Map light has two type BA9 bulbs. Word of advice: dont try to pry the bulb out, push it in and twist it so it unhooks.

Without checking the car, I ordered two type BA9 bulbs and when they came in, I tried to install them. Surprisingly, the bulbs in the map light are double ended bulbs with the number A12V5W on them, not BA9s. I have 99 convertible...why are my map lights different? |
