so last night my cousin decided to change all my wires and use bigger gauges to my amp
and also put a stronger amp. (which he couldnt finish because it got too late) but anyways this morning as im driving to work, im listening to the radio and out of no where, Zap ZAAp zap ZAp from behind the radio, and OFF goes everything. I pull over and removed my radio, noticed he forgot to wrap around the remote wire with black tap.so it must have touched some metal from the car and made it trigger off. so i open my hood, disconnect my battery, black tape the remote wire, put the radio back in and i get no power stil from the radio, amp is also off.. im guessing i blew the fuse to the radio if there is any ? -------------------- 94' Celica GT Manual |

Definitely... Check the radio fuse, if i'm not mistaken, it is located in that plastic case under the hood alongside the fender are u talking about these fuses ? i checked all the fuse with the light up checker gadget, all seem to work.. i wonder if the fuse is inside ? ![]() sometimes the radio itself has a fuse on the back of the unit so check that as well unfortanately, this isnt the greatest aftermarket radio, no fuse in the back .. the radio 20A fuse was OK.. forgot to mention. -------------------- 94' Celica GT Manual |
