On the Megan coilovers the spring rates are too harsh for the streets I'm thinking of upgrading to swift can anyone recommend a certain spring rate for front and rear?

You can swap springs on any coilover. All you need is a couple of specs for the spring manufacturer to follow. After that, you need to correctly set the spring preload on them in order for the coilover dampers to function as they were designed.
Try 7kg-6kg front and 4kg rear spring rates, that's what the new megan coilovers come with and that's what BC Racing uses on the ST204/AT200 coilovers. -------------------- 1993 Celica GT Coupe - sold
