So about 2 months ago I Bought a 97 GT liftback. It is my 3rd Toyota(hence the username) I have a 93 Corolla that I have recently had a bunch of paint and body work done to a 96 Corolla and now my 97 GT
So far my plans are to beef it up a little bit. Mostly by just unclogging it what I've done so far: KYB GR-2 all the way around Slotted and drilled rotors Ceramic Pads New Valve Cover gasket (painted black while I had it off cleaning New oil pan Gasket Thorough cleaning of the engine and bay( still not quite satisfied will most likely make another pass) Weapon R Dragon series SRI Functional Sharkfin Antenna conversion Reverse Glow Gauges (Black Face) 7th Gen short throw with a black suede blue stitch boot 17" Enkei Performance GW8 wheels Twin piston calipers from a 94 camryV6 Future plans Include: High Flow cat High Flow cat delete/resonator Dual exhaust Will probably use a set of aftermarket side mirrors with LED turns built in Projectors in lows and highs with Amber led strips for turns inside the housings. Going to go through the retrofit source for the projectors Pakfiefer skirts and rear Most likely an invader style front bumper ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by toyota123: Nov 7, 2013 - 1:58 PM -------------------- 97 Celica GT liftback DD/ project

Just a little update
Got the axle seal fixed, alignment done and a new set of rubber up front because somehow I managed to drive all the tread of them in less than 3k miles... Been back on the ground now for about a week and I have to say if anyone is thinking about break upgrades go for it. I used 94 camryV6 twins and they work great and bolt right up to our brackets. Performance isn't as noticeable as on my hope for until you get into hard breaking, which I don't do much, but for less than 50 bucks for the pair at my local junk yard I would have to say it's most definitely worth it. -------------------- 97 Celica GT liftback DD/ project
