Can any of you guys tell me what tools I need to remove the quarter windows on a lift back?
I've never removed any of the sealed glass before so I'm not completely sure how to do it. I tried looking for a thread on it, but I'm busy with school work and don't have the time to look in depth for it. |

Goodluck... its a huge pain in the ass. Although you wont have a cage in the way so itll be somewhat easier.
Get an oscillating tool, take all the plastic out, cut from the inside. Lube the window seal rubber. over and over again like you're scoring it with the oscillating tool. You'll get the hang of it. I've done 4 of them and now I can probably do one in 15 min. First one took a long time since I tried to use a long knife. Can't use piano wire on those side windows. Just wont work, you'll break the wire, score the glass, and cut the black outer plastic. But, if the windows already broken, knock as much glass out as you can and just cut it from the outside. The ones I was removing I was intending on using again. This post has been edited by czwalga: Sep 24, 2013 - 1:48 PM -------------------- -93 Rx7, Turbo 6.1L v8, 725rwhp/760rwtq
