Currently I have my rev limit set at 6,300 rpm to bounce back to 6k rpm. I still feel a considerable amount of power when accelerating around 6k so I want to raise the rev limit now that my engine is broken in after the build. I have my injectors set to open earlier in the rotation to give me a little more fuel at higher rpm, and I'm wondering how well the stock FPR will hold up if I raise the rev limit. First I want to raise it to 7k, then 8k if 7k still feels solid. The audi individual coils I'm running provide a crazy hot spark (*hot enough to make me change my plugs every 10k miles according to the audi guys). So considering the spark and earlier fuel delivery I want to see what it can do on a street tune before I dyno tune it. I'll also be changing my lobe separation angle soon for higher RPM power.
So...will the stock FPR give me the pressure I need at a sustained 8k rpm? Or should I go with an aftermarket? I have an AEM fpr that I want to try out, I just need to install it. But if the stock FPR holds up I would rather sell the AEM. -------------------- -Jay

X2 on bsamps4's post the guys at ATS are awesome. But as for your rev limit I'm not sure why you have it so low to begin with? The factory rev limit is set around 7,250 rpm if I'm not mistaken. That could be the reason your still pulling so hard at 6k.
