Ok lost in the sauce here lol, been reading through posts for like 2 hours and getting different answers, and old posts with pics removed now
![]() Ok so I have a 3rd gen 3sgte with an ST205 ECU (99% sure it is any how 89661-2B840) I sent tweak the harness a while back, mainly to get rid of this problem (obviously didn't) and cant get ahold of him. Anyhow looking through some posts and cant quite figure it out. I find you should jump the Intercooler level sensor (dont think I have one Not sure what the wire and connector look like) and add resistors to the other IC pump clip.. I also dont have.... Going to post some pictures from my can and other posts to try and get some answers here. Found this post, and its very detailed, but I dont believe I have that clip for the IC pump to add the resistors to. It seems pretty simple there, but I dont have that clip, or at least I cant find where it is. http://www.gtfours.co.uk No direct link. Click - How to > Modify > Cure 205 Code 54 Can I do this at the ECU?/ What wires (baby step it for me lol) My ECU ![]() IC level pump ![]() Wiring fix ![]() IC Pump clip (I dont have this clip) ![]() 205 ecu pin out ![]() Read you can just ground the WIN wire, and that will work? ![]() So confused lol it seems simple I i had the connector in the bay like its supposed to be. Please shed some light here lol Thanks 6gc ![]() This post has been edited by mgnt232: May 3, 2014 - 3:20 PM -------------------- |

The level sensor and pump connectors were probably deleted during the process of (not) solving the code issue. This might be why you can't find them haha just to cover bases though, you did check underneath the metal battery support around the underside of the frame rail, correct? That's where the pump usually goes..The level sensor clip is the 2 wire connector that you have pictured with a red line jumping the two wires..there's a picture of it haha how do you not know what it looks like?? ![]() Going to post some pictures from my can and other posts to try and get some answers here. The pic below is also missing EGW, CCO, and ECO (in place of FPR). Would this be the difference in the ECU p/n? I would think grounding out the WIN (or LEV which might stand for level {just a thought, idk for sure}) would just fix the issue on the IC level and not the pump. Read you can just ground the WIN wire, and that will work? ![]() So confused lol it seems simple I i had the connector in the bay like its supposed to be. Please shed some light here lol Thanks 6gc ![]() These are just my thoughts. I don't have the solution haha but I'll help brainstorm with you to maybe spark new ideas or get you going.
