 Increasing Horsepower/Torque in 5sfe? |

Hi everybody,
I'm pretty much a noob when it comes to tuning engines to increase speed/horsepower. I have a 94 Celica GT with a 5sfe engine. I want to increase the power but I'm not looking for power that a turbo or supercharger would give. I just want to increase the horsepower by as much possible without turning to a turbo or supercharger. Basically. I just want the Celica to run a bit faster. So my question is: What do I need in order to increase the horsepower/torque of my 5sfe engine without looking into turbos or superchargers? Best bang for your buck would be to spray nitrous. Good gain and cheaper than swapping engines. Make sure to spend money on a bottle warmer and all the parts needed. Run it right and it shouldnt give you any problems.
Im not talking about installing a nos button. Tap the system into your tps and have a window switch for safety. Any other kinds of mods that arent turbo or sc... Wouldnt make much gains as the others have said |
