Hey guys,
Just looking ahead towards my build I wanted to get some lighter wheels for the track to mount some R compound rubber on. I came across this jem and am trying to keep 17" rims for track use: http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/WheelCloseU...mp;autoModClar= They are the absolute lightest wheel tirerack carries, even lighter than O.Z.'s. In 17" for a wheel to be 15.5 pounds is amazing as far as I'm concerned. For them to run $199 each is a freakin' cherry on top. Anyone have any thoughts on these? Other options to take a look at perhaps? I'm sure there are lighter wheels out there but not for under $1k a piece. |

The K1's are another model of theirs that is light. Mike, do you have any idea what the OE 15" wheels weigh? This post has been edited by qatar11: Nov 1, 2013 - 9:19 AM -------------------- -Mike

If I was looking at stock 15's the same wheel runs $40 cheaper and weighs under 11lb lol. The car right now has 17" 5zingens if im not mistaken. |
