Yo,
Im sure everyone has seen the tubular manifolds for the 3S-GTE engines, (2nd and 3rd Gen) I have one, but currently i been working on my engine and took it off.... What yall think about em, i was having a lot of heat under this bonnet because of it, but is it worth it to have it....or shud i just go back to the stock one with heat shield....(got 270 whp, but never dynoed with the stock one on) Anyone else used both and have any criticism? good gains can be had with a properly designed and executed manifold, however, 99% of the manifolds you see out there are pure garbage, especially the ebay ones.
a properly designed and built manifold will cost somewhere in the neighborhood of 800+$, with a really nice one going upwards of 1400$ (using 321 stainless, slip joints, ect) -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)
