So hey ! Ive got '96 celica with 3SGE engine 177hp. And then I checked 98 celica with 3SGE engine has 201hp. So I thought what the heck, same engine but more power?
So I noticed there is only different in compression ratios. -96 3SGE has 10.3:1 and -98 11.0:1 AAAAND as you might have noticed I'd like some extra power to my celica so what should i doooo! |

The engine is not the same. You have a 3rd gen 3S-GE, and you're looking at a 4th gen 3S-GE known as a BEAMS. There are some mods you can do to get your engine near the power of a BEAMS. Check out Rusty 's progress thread.
