Third gear grinding on downshifting is a common issue, just for future reference. Hmm, I don't know why it's being so hard to find one that isn't a basket case. Then again when I had mine up for sale most people were interested in mine since it was in such good condition, sadly for them they waited until I had changed my mind again.
