Hello I recently swapped over from 99 5sfe to 94-95 rev 3 3sge with e56 transmission,
My issue is that I can't get the car to crank from the ignition key, but I can start it from jumping the solenoid with the 12mm power on the starter. I can't seem to figure it out does anyone know of this problem and both 5sfe and 3sge were MT |

Kind of a silly question but I want to knock the easy stuff out first. What happens when you turn the key? Clicking? Does the power seem to drain a bit from the lights like there's a load on the battery? Any noises at all?
Second question, is the starter relay in place in the junction box (the box with the EA1 plug)? Third, did you repin the clutch start wire? I'm thinking that wire is the issue at the moment, but I don't have all the details.
