So I finished swapping my engine yesterday and the clutch doesnt work. I bled the slave cylinder but it appears to be functioning correctly. I can see the fork and throwout bearing pushing down the clutch fingers so I dont know what could be wrong.
Could I have installed the clutch disc backwards? I am about to pull the transmission to check the clutch unless I can find a stick of dynamite first. |

It's possible the pedal needs adjusting.
I put a LW FW on my Rav when I swapped and the oem flywheel was 2x as thick. When I pushed the clutch the system worked but the disk wasn't making contact with the flywheel. We adjusted the pedal further and I have a fully working clutch. I should have just extended my push rod...I'll do that next week. -------------------- |
