When I had my new wheels mounted back in November, the mechanic at the garage told me that one of my front calipers was seized, and the rotors looked like they needed replacement due to the wear. From what he showed me, it was worn to the point where there was araised lip on the rotors outermost surface due to the center being worn from the pads. Luckily, the pads seemed to have been changed sometime recently.

I know rotors are of big discussion here on the forums, but finding stock rotors is quite hard. Right now, TCB has all rotors available to me, with a grand total of $525 after shipping. This is the cheapest price I could find for stock rotors anywhere. Is this a fair price for my car, or are there better alternatives before I go and drop half a grand on an important part of my vehicle?

That is WAY too much to pay for rotors. I personally get my brake components off ebay. I have ordered for both my celica and my supra and have never had a problem either time. First set I ordered for my supra were EBC. Second set... I just recently ordered were PowerSport and they were for my celica.

Here are a couple of links.

I hope this helps.
