Is wiring in an Honda ecu the fastest cheapest best way to start tuning a 3sgte? Post your opinions and what you think is best option for EM for the 3sgte budget conscious.

Forget the Honda ecu. That was an old hack, and you had to go through the trouble of making a custom distributor for it. Its really not worth it.
For my car I built a Megasquirt DIYPNP kit. I spent about $500 bucks and soldered it up myself. You can also buy the pre-assembled unit for $800. Its a full featured EMS and works with the stock distributor and all of the factory sensors. You really can't beat it. I'm surprised more people haven't jumped into building one since I got mine running. Here is my initial start up video on the base map. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WNjWKyVoZS4 -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
