This Happened back in December. I always park in a Motel's parking lot. I always park in front of a camera.
I was planning to go out and do errands; I got to my car and to my surprise... My car was literally pushed to the side. ![]() I was quoted about $800 in damages. ![]() I asked the Landlord if I can review the security cameras. Luckily the idiot lived closer than I thought. He left no note stating his phone number or something. The one at fault drives a 1988? Toyota Camry. ![]() He has no insurance nor driver license. ![]() A police report was made and he signed that he was at fault. I told him he had 2 options: 1) pay me cash or 2) He is getting his ass sued in civil court. Well I am pretty much angry and I am hoping things work out in my favor. He will also go to jail for having no licence and the hit and run, which I'm sure is a felony is the US? Seen it on cops. Your lucky you got camera footage I never got to find out who hit mine because it was when previous owner had it, haggled car to 1500 which is cheap in aus.
