So, I am stymied. My '96 ST died in the cold in Boston overnight bt 1 and 2 January. The overnight temps were -20 F, give or take. I was running errands the evening of the first, and it seemed to be running fine. The morning of the 2nd she would crank and crank, but not catch. I have since moved to NC where I have a garage and temps in the 40s. I have confirmed she isn't getting a spark or maybe an occasional weak one. I have replaced: distributor cap and rotor, battery, coil, and igniter. Still no love. I am a decent home mechanic, but I can't read wiring diagrams. Where to go from here? *bangs head against desk*

Replacing the distributor wont fix this if you have no to faint spark. I see no mention of replacing any wires such as the coil wire or spark plug wires. You need to test to see if the coil has power, and move down the line from there to the coil wire, then the spark plug wires, ect ect. How did you test for spark?
