As the topic description says I have a strange knocking noise when driving down the road.
It appears to be related the wheels/ suspension/ driveshaft. It seems to come from the front nearside wheel. It starts at about 10-15 mph and gets worse around 30 then lessens but still evident as i go faster. It is in no way related to engine revs. Can feel it in the floor pans and steering wheel but not in the gear stick. I have tried changing the nearside front wheel for the full sized alloy spare but nothing changed. (so not a buckled wheel or tyre??) Anyone any clues? |

Have you checked over you pass. and driver side axles? I know when my drivers side axle went it made a knocking noise. Look for a worn/torn axle boot and you might find the issue.
