Ok, I need these to measurements.
And if you can, how thick are the bolts that hold the plastic mesh piece.
Inches, millimeters, doesn't matter, just be precise.

Athough 10mm is the spanner size to remove the nuts securing it in place, this is not the sizing of them, they are I think M6 nuts although knowing Toyota they are probably a metric fine...I finish work early today, I will measure them for you after lunch and report back.

I want to know how thick it is, so I could figure out the radius of the holes they can go through. I'll be making a hood rain guard.
Looking at Jeebus's picture the bolt is 5-6mm
That's what I need.
