Hey guys, so just recently I started getting a clicking sound when I drive my car. When I got over a bump it clicks bad and I'm starting to think that my front driver side strut is blown out. Seeing as my car is a 95 and I assume the struts have never been changed as I am the second owner, I was thinking about going with a nice set out coil overs (that aren't overly expensive) instead of just replacing the blown struts with new ones. My question is: what do you guys recommend when it comes to coil overs? I want to have something reliable but not too expensive, and I've seen a few online already (Megan, K-sport, etc.) that aren't too expensive. What do you guys run and how do you guys like it? If anyone could help me out, it'd be greatly appreciated.

If you take a look at the different brands and see what spring rates they set their coilovers they release for our car, you can probably find a company who has the set around the 5k range. MOST of the companies have them set around 6 or 7k out of the box.
But honestly, if you are going to lower it, you wont want the car bouncing around (a bit of an exaggeration) and the out of the box spring rates arent TOO bad, itll take a bit longer to get custom spring rated coilovers directly from the manufacturer rather then getting the off the shelf ones from a distributor. -------------------- ![]() 1995 GT::::Diffusing the Situation エキサイティングカーレーシングチーム! march 2010 COTM : 6GC feature 2014 : january 2015-2016-2018 COTM |
