I bought engine tranny combo from 3rd gen 3s and
I want to know is it possible to make this tranny fwd? -------------------- Looking to build up my 94 3sgte

you wont burn anything up, you just need to design a way to keep fluid in the trans without a driveshaft in.
the cover plate is a standard part on the MR2 E153. but you will also need a differential from an MR2 or Camry/Solara. you do NOT want to get an MR2 trans. the linkage is on the wrong side and its not worth the effort to change over. just get a Camry/Solara 5 speed trans -------------------- 2001 Celica GT-S Turbo
