Well, it's been an interesting year so far, I picked up my 99 GT, and have been really enjoying it. My 94 has been resting all winter, and dreaming of a v6 swap in time for summer.
Then, along came this, ![]() I'm now debating on picking up the MR2, it's got a blown 5fse and I've always planned on getting one of these after I finished my swap. But should I just take the amazing deal now, and grab this MR2 for $1000, and do the swap to the MR2 first. Then next winter I can do the swap in one of my Celica's? What does the community think? Would you swap a v6 into the 6th gen you own, or buy the MR2 and swap it in there first? In the defense of the MR2, my 94 Celica needs about $1000 worth of love before I'd bother swapping the motor in anyways. |

MR2 for sure. Then swap that.
QUOTE Personally, a V6, $1500 MR2 sounds fantastic. (Assuming you find an engine for about $500) either way, it's fun. You are delusional if you think it only costs $500 to swap in a V6. -------------------- 1991 MR2 - T-tops - Crimson Red - Gen3 3SGTE - Lots of money
