Hey guys, so I've been doing some research on wheels lately and I came across a few xxr wheels. I'm looking to put something with a nice lip on my car and I found the xxr 962s rather appealing. The only problem is that it comes in a 17x7 and a 17x9. I wanted to go with a wheel that was wider than our stock 7 inch wheel but I'm not sure if a 9 inch wheel would fit. Is there anyone running 9 inch wheels? If so is there any mods you had to do to make it fit (fender rolling, wide bodykit, etc)? Also if the 9 inch wheel does fit, what would be the spacers I'd have to use in order to get a nice offset that won't rub against the struts or the fenders?
Sorry for the noob question but I'm just unsure on what will work and what won't, also if you guys have any wheel recommendations that would look nice please let me know because I am open to opinions. I want something nice, subtle, and hopefully not too expensive. Any help would be very appreciated. -------------------- "I'd rather lose by a mile because I built my own car than win by an inch because someone else built it for me"

Would I have to do any mods to the fenders? I'm trying to avoid that as much as possible. I also saw a 5th gen that had 9" rims on the back and 7" on the front with the xxr 962s. It look really good and it didn't look like he had to do mods to the body. I know the body style is different from our car but in a sense it'd be similar when it comes to space in the wheel well. I'll post a picture of the 5th gen also.
