Hey I am planning on painting my interior blue and silver but I dont know what kind of paint to get or what kind of clear coat to get. Also, how should I prep the peices. Any info would be great

get a couple of cans of plastic primer, a couple of spray cans from your local 'autostore' of the paint colour you want and then clear lacquer spray..
all sprayng should be about 30cm from the part.. get all the pieces out of the car, primer them - about 4-5 coats - make sure it's vully dry between coats (use a hair dryer ) use a couple of pieces of wet and dry to smooth the surface off. then do a few layers of the colour - again 4-5 coats. now the lacquer.. i cannot stress enough that you do thin coats.. do no over spay or the lacquer wil just go cloudy and it's a bitch to remove and re-do.. take your time.. hell drive around without the interior plastics for a week ! i Idid ! |
