Ok, got my keyless entry in yesterday, started to install it today. I got the power sources and ground, and i wired up the locks. That part works great! I want to also wire it up to the parking lights, but i dont know which wire it is, and also the horn and dome lights. Another question is the starter interupt... i know i need a relay for it, but how would i wire it up from there? its a "(-) 500 mA Armed Output" wire.
Sorry about all the Q's, but any help would be greatly appreciated. *EDIT* BTW, the Horn Honk, Sarter Kill, Illuminated Entry and Parking Light wires are all negative trigger output wires... -mike This post has been edited by mikew04: Mar 9, 2004 - 10:28 PM -------------------- ![]() |

The best place is straight from the battery. Run a wire that's at least 12 gauge from the battery to a fuse holder(within 18" of the battery), and from the fuse holder, run that wire through your firewall into your interior. I'm not too sure about the parking light wire. I just tapped into a fuse for mine. And yes, the +12 volts wire goes to both terminals. Once you understand how relays work, you'll get it. ![]() -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...
