I bought a used cluster from a scrapped GT and as soon as I connected the right plug(if gauges are facing you), the check engine lit up.
Is it possible that the car I got it from, had the light come on and it somehow stayed on the cluster? On my original cluster there is no problem. Is it normal that the light is on without the key being in the ignition at all? I was afraid to start the car with it, with the hopes that the ECU will clear it. ![]() -------------------- |

What's the cel on it? I use to hav a cel on my old cluster because the speed sensor inside the cluster was bad and my speedometer didn't work along with my cruise control. Swapped it out for a different cluster and never saw the cel ever again. So you might have a faulty cluster.
