Some dude from auto zone told me to add some fuel injector cleaner to my car since its 20 years old and should bring performance back . If it's true what's a good brand cleaner

Seafoam is fine in the fuel tank, and it may or may not hurt in the brake booster line. 99% of fuel injector cleaners are a waste of money. Most fuel stations already have additives and detergents in the fuel that are cleaning everything anyway. Lucas Oil would be the one I would expect to work, but if you're pumping good quality gasoline you shouldn't need anything at all.
