 Automatic to manual, Tyranny swap |

I'm fixing to buy a GT and I already have a ST, can I swap the tyranny from a 7A to a 5S?
I've been contemplating on doing some mods on the ST that I drive around but it just didn't seem worth it since my car doesn't have power windows, power locks, cruise or sunroof, not does it have 4 wheel disc brakes. So I found a broke down GT on Craigslist and will buy it but it has an auto tranny. It feels like I'm taking two steps forward but then a step back. The 7A transmission will not bolt up to the 5s engine.
