I have a 12v li-po cell. The alternator puts out 80amps.Is that too much current to charge a small cell?
How do I stop the alternator over charging it?
The instructions say I must make sure the the battery management system doesnt exceed 15v.

I see. My boost controller has a built in volt meter and at most its 14.1v when boosting.
so you think its ok to just connect it like a normal battery?
