my stock intake hose is cracked pretty bad, so i want to put in a short ram in my 96 st. what are my options? dont mind price wise, but would like all the get up and go i can get.. and a great sound. im thinking of anything between a cheap ebay one or a secret weapon r. any reviews or suggestions?

As said above sri's do nothing that the stock air box doesn't already do, just do what the box said, you'll be fine or you can just leave it alone and do something else like put a turbo on that n/a motor. I have to agree... In my experience, a CAI and SRI are both a waste of 100+ dollars. and IMO unless you can get a used intake for less than 50$ don't waste your money. If you really want to make a difference, leave the car bone stock, work hard for about a year and save your money, then do a fully built N/A setup, turbo, or supercharged. |
