Is there any difference in the 5sfe heads? I have a 94 and the one I'm looking to buy shows 97 and up. Its the non cali style.

There's I believe 3 revisions.
Revision 1 is the earliest 5S-FE head (90-92 MR2, 90-92 Camry, 90-92 Celica). The camshafts (smaller base circle) and valves (shorter stems) are different as well as the valve cover. Revision 2 is 93 MR2, 94-99 Celica, 93-97 Camry. It is the same as what you have now. Larger base circle on the cams, longer valve stems, different valve cover. Revision 3 is 98-01 Camry and Solara. It is the same as the 94-99 Celica with the exception of having a provision for a cam sensor. The camshaft sprocket on those has a tooth, and the metal timing cover is different to accommodate the sensor. This is because this 98-01 engine (cali or federal) comes with a distributorless ignition. -------------------- 1993 Celica GT Coupe - sold
