Ok, so now that I've got a new daily. (2011 Honda Accord coupe v6 auto) I'm going full racekar status with the Celica. Anyone bypassed the heater core? Wondering if there's anything to keep in mind.
Should just involve finding a C-shaped hose that fits both the outgoing water pipe -> into water neck. Should just simply keep me from having heat in the car. I can't think of anything else. Thanks -------------------- proud =3sgte SWAPPED= '95 Celica ST owner [calling it the GT2 or half-trac]

I bypassed mine because my heater core was cracked..
I haven't had any issues with it haha but I also don't race my car (yet) so issues might arise with overheating on the track. idk..just throwin that out there haha -------------------- |

I've got a low temp t-stat and a koyo radiator so I shouldn't be overheating at all. Plus I removed the A/C & condenser that takes up a lot of room & slows airflow. Did you just use a 5/8" (or whatever the correct size is) hose and bend it? or did you find one that was pre-shaped? If you happen to remember what it was that could save me a little time.
