How is that cheaper? Can go to any junk yard in America and can find a 2JZ. Most people end up going single turbo anyhow for big power, so making a NA-T is a viable option should the 225hp not do it for you.

Most people end up going single turbo anyhow for big power, so making a NA-T is a viable option should the 225hp not do it for you. It's cheaper compared to going 2JZ-GTE and even going NA-T with a GE. You can find a 2JZ-GE in any yard, but not the GTE. I haven't seen many yards let a motor go for less than $700-800 average though. :\ For a few bucks more, you can get a 1JZ VVTi, get Tweak'd to make a harness, swap oil pans, get the right bellhousing & clutch set-up, and go crazy. Also a plus to going the GTE route, you get stronger internals than you do with a GE. That's just me though. ![]() -------------------- -Alex {](O_o)[}
