Exhaust question, Dual exhaust Options

Wondering what you guys think. I have 3 different ideas I'm rolling around in my head.

Split from 1to2 using the Cat
Split from 1to2 using the resonator
Running one pipe to a resonator tucked behind the rear bumper that splits to two mufflers

Looking for input on which will yield the best results as far as gain, flow and sound.
I'm going to do it one way or the other I just don't know a whole lot about exhaust yet and what will effect sound and performance other than what I've read here

Uneven length headers could alter the sound of your exhaust to a V6 or even V8 sound. There probably arent any options on our motors other than custom made for this though.

For maximum performance and sound you should run true dual exhaust all the way. You will need two seperate headers fed by two cylinders a piece and or a header that has two collectors. Then I'd suggest trying to fit a second exhaust pipe from the collector back to the tailpipe. Not sure if you could just nab a exhaust from a junkyard celica and run it next to the existing pipe or if you'd need a custom job.

Either increasing the size of the entire pipe or having two seperate pipes will increase performance. A cat-back or muffler-back solution wouldnt alter the performance and probably wont sound drastically different.

You could always get an electric cutout l, that would sound pretty awesome, give you a slight performance boost and you could turn it off with the flip of a switch.
