I have a complete 3sgte engine still attached to the subframe and transmission, which i have to strip down so i can ship the transmission. I have never done this before, so i just wonder if there is anything i should be aware of. Or if i can simply start pulling things apart. For instance, i dont know what to expect when i detach the motor from the gearbox. Any oil i have to remove? Some pictures or a quick how-to would be greatly appreciated.

Ah so much fun to be had there.

Really, its just taking things off 1 by 1, and then taking all the bolts from the housing. Try not to wreck the spline.

I had my engine set on a hoist, I just lifted it a little bit, and pulled it off by hand. Its heavy, may need some help.
