Bought new cv axle from o Riley. Not remanufactured. Had a guy put it in for 50 in a local garage. On the way home I noticed the car vibrates on steering wheel very strong when around 60mph. Also road noise has gone up. On the way home she started to pull right strongly.
So did I get a dud or did the guy put it in wrong? |

If it's pulling to the right strongly I would be checking the tracking but I don't think that will be the problem, I would also check for resistance, jack the car up and see how easy if is to turn the wheel. It could be a duff bearing, incorrectly fitted CV joint, brakes might be binding, the axel might not have been fitted correctly, it could be something simple like they forgot to do the wheel nuts up. Take the wheel off and check all the bolts make sure they haven't missed one, make sure they are all tight and in the right position. Do a visual check on the axel, see if it's bent,
