the cd player seems to read the cd for a minute and then spit it back out but everything else works, anyone know what this might be?

I read all about the metra harness and all the posts you have made, the thing is in the 2-3 month future I plan on getting 6.5 inch components , 4 inch 2 ways, and 6.5 incvh 3 ways for the rear. Along with subs.

Im trying to spend as little money as possibile right now just to have CD capability while I drive (without using one of those gay car adaptbers tongue.gif)

I really think that you should try using a really good headunit with the Metra harness, then adding subs of your choice. You would be floored at how good those speakers sound with the stock amps driving them through an expensive headunit. wink.gif Unless of course you blew a speaker or something...

Right now i have a 9 speaker setup with all 8 stock speakers powered by the stock amps using the Metra harness, and a 10" Polk MOMO sub recieving 300 watts RMS bridged from a Blaupunkt amp under my passenger seat. It sounds incredible, and if you want even more drastic results in the bass department, i would suggest at least 2 10's or even 12's getting at no less than 300 watts each.

Moral of the story- you arent going to notice hardly any difference between stock speakers and components unless you feed sick ammounts of power to them, which really isnt neccesary based on how well the stock ones respond to high output stereos. smile.gif
