So my Brother has(had) a nice phat 2001 Ram diesel with four-doors and dual rear wheels. Just made the last payment on it 2 months ago, and this weekend went to the summer Rockfest and it got stolen from a pay parking lot downtown.
Retard Police wouldn't even let him fill out a report because he didn't know the tag number (had just got new tags), then when he goes to the dmv on Monday and looks it up he goes back to the Police and they tell him he didn't really need the tag to file a report... ![]() lucky the poor guy had kept his full coverage insurance on it. But this has got me thinking... cause I can see the edge of the bottom of my window trim is bent out like its had a slim-jim in the door before, and my driver window rocks a bit like one of the supports is broken. but does anybody have any experience rigging some kind of a special kill switch you could hide up under the dash so that it wouldn't start unless you know where it is. mine has a factory Toyota thing that says security on the lower dash panel but IDK if it works -------------------- Bust a Deal; Face the Wheel.

You have a variety of ways of doing this. The easiest way would be to wire in an on/off switch for the fuel pump and have it somewhere inconspicuous. That way the car still has power and will turn over and run for a few seconds, but then it'll die. If it's a manual a kill switch to the starter wouldn't do any good anyway since you could just pop start it. A good place to put the switch would be under the mirror switch in the door, I don't think anyone would check there. They will check around the dash and center console though.
