A parts question; A junkyard question Options

Have never done it before, but I plan on visiting local auto junkyards very soon to try to find a steering knuckle to replace the one I have that has bent ears. I'm looking for two things: advice on using auto junkyards from you experts, such as how to know the part was not involved in a collision if it has already been removed (and yeah, I'm a little scared of the dog), and I need to know what vehicles used the same knuckle as my manual 94 Celica ST Coup (1.8L) w/o ABS. I know it's the same for all 94-99 Celicas, but are there any others that used the same part?

The Toyota part number is 43211-29015.

Would very much appreciate getting advice.

I'll be honest, they were looking because they don't get many grampa blue-hair's in the yards. Go you though, glad you had fun. I still have the toaster I got out of the back of a wrecked car at this yard I used to use all the time, the lady at the parts window was like 'uh toaster ain't on the list' so the guy leaned over and said 'gimme $2 kid'. I still have my $2 toaster and it makes great toast. You can find all kinds of stuff out there, sometimes real deals and steals too. Wheels are often flat price for alloys, so if you find a nice set you like you can often get them for cheap. Some places will even let you haggle some.

I'm beginning to see the value of these places, thanks to the advice received in this thread. Began by figuring it was the best place to find a replacement steering knuckle, and now, since I did that, my eyes have been opened to greater possibilities. I was struck by an older man, way older than me , who was continually wheeling out (wheel barrows full of) tires with really good tread life left on them. I figure he must have a "business" re-selling tires at some road-side cheap tire place. It's a whole new world I had never experienced, so thanks for all the good advice.

Question: Where can I find a detailed parts list for my 94 Celica with every part shown along with their associated Toyota part numbers?
