I also have this little trick I use to get around the crunchy synchronizer, when I want to downshift to third I pull it to the Second spot real quick, but don't actually go all the way in just the opening of the fork to that spot, and then go up to third and it makes no noise.
and Ya I've generally got it in 5th by 35mph for everyday fuel economy driving. now if I could just get it to idle right.
this weekend I think ill hit the pick-n-pull and get a new IAC and ill drill out the messed up screw on the old one, I freakn hate it when they use Philips screws for **** like that.
