Ok guys I've read up on a bunch of your swaps for awhile I wanted to do a full on gt4 conversion from at200 then I thought 1mz swap now I think I've leaned over the edge a little. Has anyone considered the feasibility of an LS swap? I've seen a few gt4 clips that come with the rear subframe and I bet someone out there has just the subframe layin around that they got with a clip. My thoughts on it are there are most likely more ls parts available versus toyota parts and many more tune shops specializing in ls versus toyota. I know custom driveshaft and I'll have to cut a trans tunnel and I've seen guys talking about Tacoma 2wd diffs but not sure exactly how that would work. Also I plan for my backseat to be be taken out and fabbing just a steel box for whatever maybe a fuel cell. Anything I'm missin any ideas?

you could always reinforce the body, thats why man invented welders. tough it will all be custom, and the only left from the celica will be the skin.
but it would be so cool. a couple years ago, i did not know much about all this stuff, and swallowed everything i read. However, now i think everything is possible. Instead of looking at all the negativity of why something cant be done, why not look into what needs to be done for something to happen. move the engine to rear, and use an audi v8. It would be so awesome to lift the hatch, only to see a v8 there.... -------------------- Learned a lot in 10 years...
