Whats up people??? I have a question for everyone here. What do you think gives better performance when you do a custom 2.25 piping... A single muffler? or a dual muffler? Of course if you buy a full catback exhaust like the greddy SP for our GTs and STs you will get the best performance.

Not true. If you go custom 2.25" mandrel bent you can get the same exact gains for cheaper. To run dual piping and NOT mess up performance, you will need to calculate how small to make your exhaust pipes to keep that 2.25" total, but then also take into account the increased surface area of running a Y in the exhaust system to dual mufflers. That, and take into account that exhaust gasses prefer to go down the least restrictive/easiest to find path. So, it will be easier and more beneficial to run a single-muff setup, unless you have some physics knowledge and a good calculator. -------------------- ![]() |
