ok, i know some of the celicas have the 47201347213094721 speaker configuration, but mine doesnt. the question is, is there anything behind those little triangular blocks on the inside of our cars by our mirrors? you know what im talking about... like if i pry them off, cut out a whole, and stuff say a 1.5" tweeter in there, it'll work? or would it be easier to just upgrade my 2 way speakers upfront to 3 ways? thanks...

I heard if you place the tweeters like 4 inches from the speakers, you get a better sound, not sure if that is true or not. As for cutting a hold in your panels, that shouldn't be a problem, just measure, mark it with chalk, cut lil at a time, not the whole size and just try and fit it in there. In my rear panels for the passangers I got two 1.5" JL tweeters fitted in there and they are flush and look pretty stock. Also, I think all 6gc have tweeters behind the triangles, if not, there is actually nothing behind them. Give us a picture so we can see how its made. Cuz the ones I got have a bulge, and then the tweeter cover so it sticks out enough to fit the tweeter and wires. If not, then I would suggest cutting into the panels a few inchs above the speaker.
