1997 ST Limited Edition Celica Liftback 5-speed 1.8L L4 engine. . . ABS, Alloy Wheels, Leather Seats. . . Very Clean. . . approx. 100k miles.

Photos show both the outside and inside were well kept and in very good condition. They are asking $5.5K!

What's the maximum you would offer for this vehicle?

No, most of the people here have the stick shift. It's only us, the enthusiast, that wants to have the manual transmission. Just about EVERY car is worth less with the manual. The only exceptions being cars where the majority of potential owners want the manual transmission or the manual was produced in low numbers and is desirable. When I had mine for sell and more recently my brother with his Maxima I couldn't tell you how many people were like, "OHHH, well I need an automatic because I'm too stupid to drive properly." It really is a bitch to sell a car with a manual when the bulk majority of potential buyers want an automatic. It was really a stroke of luck that I sold my Celica, but I wouldn't have any trouble at all selling my Miata with the 5-speed. In theory you should be able to get one with the 5-speed for less, and don't be afraid to use that as a bargaining chip. You can always be like, "So how many people have stopped and looked at it but passed because they need an auto?"
